Star Wars: The Force Awakens Sets New Tuesday Records
Disney and Lucasfilm can't stop smiling as Star Wars: The Force Awakens sets another record of the day.
After breaking Spider-Man 2's Monday record, The Force Awakens went on to break Tuesday's record that was held by another Spider-Man, The Amazing Spider-Man of 2012; with USD 35 million. The new record now sits at USD 37.3 million.
International markets added another USD 41.3 million on Tuesday, bringing the film's total to USD 689.4 million.
It has also become the fastest movie in the US to cross the USD 300 million mark with USD 325.4 million as of yesterday.
