Benedict Wong Joins Benedict Cumberbatch In Doctor Strange
Marvel has added another Benedict to the cast of the upcoming Doctor Strange.
As filming is still underway for a 4 November 2016 release date, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Benedict Wong (who most recently appeared in The Martian) has just been added to the cast and presumably is shooting right now.
Seeing as how late Wong has been included as well (a similar case was reported yesterday with Jack Reacher: Never Go Back), his role won't be a major one.
Wong will play the character Wong, manservant to Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange and a disciple of Tilda Swinton's The Ancient One. Can we expect Wong's Wong to kick some ass?
Wong was a scene stealer in The Martian and he's a solid actor. It's great to see him added into the Marvel fold and into a movie that is filled to the brim with talents. Doctor Strange is really shaping up to be another great comic book movie.
