Also at the age of 69, also losing to cancer, Alan Rickman has just passed today following the death of David Bowie just a few days ago.
Rickman has had a proliferated career, from entering Hollywood by giving one of the greatest villains in cinema history as Hans Gruber in Die Hard, following that up with playing another great villain in Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves, to one of the most beloved characters in the Harry Potter series.
Rickman always light up the screen with charisma, no matter the role, and he's never phoned a performance in. He was one of those pure talent that could pull the audience in and steal scenes.
He has a few more projects coming up, the ones that are made known include a vocal performance for Blue Caterpillar in Alice Through The Looking Glass and Eye In The Sky opposite Helen Mirren.
