David Bowie has been fighting with cancer and has passed away yesterday at the age of 69.
He wasn't in a lot of movies but he had a few memorable roles like in Christopher Nolan's The Prestige, as well as his most iconic role in Jim Henson's Labyrinth.
But his contribution to TV and movie soundtracks were just too many to keep track of.
He could have been in Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 as, according to James Gunn's Facebook account, Bowie was offered and interested in a cameo role, as well as providing a song for the soundtrack too. If that had happened, again it would have been very cool and shows off the kind of talent that Marvel is able to attract.
