Red hot on the heels of the success of Creed and last year's Selma, Tessa Thompson is poised to be the next big thing.
Yesterday The Wrap brought word that Thompson is currently in talks to join Annihilation - Paramount Pictures' upcoming gothic horror adaptation.
Annihilation is based off the first novel of Jeff VanderMeer's "Southern Reach" trilogy. Alex Garland of Ex Machina fame has signed on to direct while the movie has already confirmed the star power of Natalie Portman together with Gina Rodriguez.
No word yet on a release date.
