Another highly anticipated sequel is receiving an official release date from its studio, Alcon Entertainment.
Blade Runner has finally gotten a green light with Harrison Ford back as Rick Deckard. Ryan Gosling will also star and perhaps lead this franchise from Ford for the foreseeable future.
This sequel will be directed by Denis Villeneuve with original creator Ridley Scott getting a producing credit while Roger Deakins will be in charge of cinematography.
Sony Pictures has distribution rights for the worldwide market, but will be released by Warner Bros. Pictures in the U.S. on 12 January 2018 - and possibly making the month of January not suck for the first time for movie-goers.
