How many times do we need to hear about another delay to the Ring sequel before Paramount pulls the plug? Nobody is waiting for another sequel to this dying franchise. Calling it Rings doesn't help it's cause either.
Then again, this delay is from the previous release date of 1 April 2016 (could have easily been an April Fool's prank if you ask me) to the Halloween season of 28 October 2016. The movie definitely has finished filming by now and this is probably just a repositioning strategy and perhaps give the movie-makers a bit more time on post production work.
Now how about giving us a trailer already?
