This first trailer released by StudioCanal for their upcoming action movie, Bastille Day, is so cheesy.
And what's the first five seconds about? An introduction to the trailer? That's crazy.
That's not to say this movie won't be good because the quality in direction seems competent. And when you have Idris Elba, the movie is hard to fail. But still, the way this trailer is edited is just filled with cheesy one-liners and like five doors getting kicked down.
I won't discount the fact that this movie may just end up being a pile of garbage though, Elba may just be using this vehicle to audition for becoming the next James Bond.
Also starring Michael Madden, Kelly Reilly and Charlotte Le Bon, and directed by James Watkins and Jill Gage; the movie opens on 13 July 2016.
