James Gunn Releases First Pic Of Guardians 2 And Confirms Kurt Russell
Principal photography has officially begun and James Gunn has just released an official image on his Instagram account for his sequel to Marvel's Guardians Of The Galaxy.
The picture shows the silhouette of the Guardians with the official logo of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 on the right side.
Also in the description of the Instagram post confirms the inclusion of the long-rumoured Kurt Russell, though his character is still being kept under wraps.
Gunn also revealed a few more names to Vol. 2, namely Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki and Chris Sullivan.
Not only that, other than the main heroes returning, we now also know that the supporting cast of Glenn Close, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan and Sean Gunn are also returning for the sequel. Rooker's Yondu and Gillan's Nebula are great characters and I'm glad that they will be back.
So now we just have to wait for Gunn to confirm that Russell will be playing Starlord's father.
The movie opens on 3 November 2017.
