I didn't even know Steven Soderbergh was retired because he's doing so much on TV. So to me, we're just getting a new movie from Soderbergh.
Apparently, Soderbergh announced his retirement after 2013's Side Effects with Channing Tatum.
Variety has reported that Soderbergh will next direct a movie titled Lucky Logan, starring Tatum and possibly Michael Shannon.
Tatum and Soderbergh has worked many times in the recent past, from Haywire to Magic Mike to Side Effects; the last three feature films from Soderbergh. So it's no surprise that Soderbergh has picked Tatum once again for his "come-back".
No word yet on the release date.
