Steven Spielberg's next movie after this year's THE BFG will be the adaptation of Ready Player One.
Already confirmed to be in the movie are Ben Menddelsohn and Olivia Cooke. And according to Deadline last weekend, Cyclops from the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse, Tye Sheridan, has been confirmed to lead the movie.
This bit of casting news bode well for the young up-and-coming star as he won't have to worry about getting work for the next couple of years, only to figure out which offers will give him the best advantage going forward; because almost everything Spielberg touches turns to instant gold.
The release date for the movie has also recently been changed to make way for the behemoth that is Star Wars Episode VIII. Instead, the new release date is now 30 March 2018.
