I did not expect to see another trailer so soon since the Superbowl one just came out, so this was a pleasant surprise.
I like how we get to see more of the Four Horsemen in this one, especially Olivia Munn's Psylocke, which is one of my favourite X-Men from the comics. I do wonder if by the end of this movie she would become an X-Men, though I won't complain if she doesn't by serving the purpose of the story.
I also didn't expect to see Oscar Isaac's naked face. I thought all we're getting is the purple makeup. But he seems to possess some very interesting mutant abilities if he is the one responsible for the destruction of the city.
I still see Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss, I don't think that would change anytime soon until, hopefully, when I watch the movie in the cinema. That last shot of Apocalypse squeezing Mystique's neck doesn't have the same high-octane feel as say other Marvel Studios' trailers. We know that Mystique will survive because she appeared in the original trilogy, which is set in the future. That's why that last shot was a little underwhelming.
But still very excited to see this movie. It's a very, very close second in terms of my anticipation level; after Civil War. The movie opens on 27 May 2016.
