Oscar Isaac Teams Up With Ex Machina Director For Annihilation
Ex Machina boasted some of the best work from the cast, one of which was Oscar Isaac. According toTracking Board, Isaac and director Alex Garland will once again work together for Paramount Pictures' upcoming gothic horror, Annihilation.
The movie is based on the first part of Jeff VanderMeer's trilogy, "Southern Reach" novel. And it already has a strong cast of Natalie Portman, Gina Rodriguez, and Tessa Thompson from Creed.
The movie is described as an expedition with a crew of four people (a biologist, an anthropologist, a psychologist and a surveyor) on a mission to a place, Area X, that is cut off from the rest of civilization. They are the 12th expedition, the previous ones all ended in disasters like suicides, disappearances, mental trauma, aggressive cancers, etc.
Sounds like the making of a great sci-fi horror-thriller already. But no release date as of now.
