Initially to be released on 18 March 2016 (this week) for the U.S. market, Paramount Pictures has, on the eleventh hour, decided to cancel the release of The Little Prince altogether!
No reason yet has been given, but the news came from the director Mark Osborn's Twitter account where he said the movie will be released via another studio instead. However, no studio has been named which leaves me to believe that no studio wants to takeover the product.
Had there been any interest, it would have been wise to capitalise on the marketing thus far and release it on the intended date.
Personally, I am eager to see this animated movie because the trailers all look beautiful and enchanting. What's more is the amazing cast of voice actors in this movie.
So now begs the question if the rest of the world are affected because Canada is still going ahead with its release date. We in Brunei may still be able to see it if it does reach this part of the world.
