Seth Rogen and his producing and writing partner, Evan Goldberg, have teamed up with writers Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir (both of whom also worked on the script for Rogen's previous movie, The Night Before) to bring the first ever R-rated animated movie to the silver screen, titled Sausage Party.
This first trailer introduces a new concept that follows a bunch of food products that are alive and have very different ideas about who they are and their purpose in life.
It stars the voice acting skills of Rogen and his pals: Kristen Wiig, Jonah Hill, Bill Hader, Michael Cera, James Franco, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Paul Rudd, Edward Norton and Selma Hayek.
Expect a lot of swearing and crude jokes. Directed by Greg Tiernan and Conrad Vernon, the movie will be out on 12 August 2016.
