Another actor is set to join Steven Spielberg's growing cast of Ready Player One.
Olivia Cooke and Ben Mendelsohn are already confirmed, and the movie will be led by rising young star Tye Sheridan.
The Hollywood Reporter yesterday has confirmed that Simon Pegg is in negotiations to sign on to play a character named Orgen Morrow - the co-creator of the virtual world of Oasis in which "players" participate in a deadly treasure hunt game.
Pegg, a full-fledged sci-fi fan himself, and already starred in multiple sci-fi movies - with the current Star Trek franchise being the biggest of them all (not counting his unrecognisable cameo in Star Wars: The Force Awakens) - will now get to work with sci-fi and movie legend Spielberg. The stars are really aligned for him.
