The trio that is Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone, collectively known as The Lonely Island and came into existence through Saturday Night Live; have been keeping mum about their new movie until now.
Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, written by the trio and directed by Schaffer and Taccone; will follow Samberg's character as a rapper who is forced to reform his boyband after his solo album flopped.
If you have no idea who these guys are, just look at this first poster and you can surmise the kind of tone and direction that the movie will take. That subtitle says it all.
