Dwayne Johnson Joins Jumanji Remake

The busy man Dwayne Johnson continues to get himself attached to movies with well-known titles. He's currently filming Baywatch, then there's Furious 8 on the horizon, as well as the gaming property Rampage.

Today, Johnson has announced on his Instagram account that he is confirmed to star in the remake of Jumanji, originally released with the late Robin Williams in 1995.

Kevin Hart, is co-star from Central Intelligence which will be out this June, is rumoured to be re-teaming for this project.

Jake Kasdan, director of Sex Tape and Bad Teacher, will helm the movie. Let's hope they can do this remake justice.

No word yet on a release date.
