Mel Gibson has been doing smaller projects, much smaller, over the last five years since his return to Hollywood. But is making a comeback on his mind at all or is he content with just making what he chooses? Because it has been over five years already.
Whatever the case may be, I admire his choices of taking it slow, with projects that may not necessarily have wide releases. The biggest thing he did so far was making an appearance in The Expendables 3, in which he was the best part about the movie.
Lionsgate will be releasing his latest effort titled Blood Father later this year. This first international trailer, presumably for the Australia market which will get to watch it first on 25 August 2016, doesn't really have that hook like Liam Neeson's Taken. But to see Gibson in this similar role could be a treat.
