The movie that has been sweeping all the film festivals and it comes from Nate Parker's directorial debut, which he also co-wrote and starred in; The Birth Of A Nation. And Fox Searchlight Pictures has won the bid to distribute the movie.
This first teaser has sold me from the very first shot, hook, line and sinker. Just from this teaser, you can already see it's going to be a powerful movie with powerful and compelling imagery. And that ending sequence shows this movie isn't going to end well.
Parker looks amazing in the movie. Also starring Armie Hammer, Jackie Earle Haley, Gabrielle Union and Penelope Ann Miller. The movie will be out on 7 October 2016.
