I have become a fan of director Nicolas Winding Refn just from his one movie, Drive. His movie has such a moody tone but look so beautiful.
And I've become a fan of Elle Fanning as well ever since her performance in Super 8. She could be the more talented one of the Fanning sisters and Dakota is no pushover at all and I was a fan of hers first from I Am Sam way back when. So that says a lot.
This first trailer of The Neon Demon once again has that mood, tone and look that I love and expected. So I am hooked. The movie also stars Keanu Reeves, Christina Hendricks, Abbey Lee, Jena Malone and Bella Heathcote.
The movie is not going to have a big bog office success but it will have that niche market. It hasn't even received a confirmed release date yet but should be sooner rather than later.
