Lupita Nyong'o To Join Marvel's Black Panther
As the Ryan Coogler movie is in pre-production right now, The Hollywood Reporter today brings word that another up-and-coming actress is in negotiations to join Chadwick Boseman in Black Panther.
To say Lupita Nyong'o is an up-and-coming actress would be an understatement as she has already won herself the coveted Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress last year in 12 Years A Slave. It's just that she's not a household name just yet but that should change soon.
Boseman's character has one of the best introduction in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Captain America: Civil War has left fans wanting more of Black Panther.
I am also intrigued by the Wakanda mythology, to see one of their elite female warriors look at Black Widow in her face and demand her to move aside in Civil War, that was total badassery. I can't wait to see more.
The movie will be released 16 February 2018.
