When I first heard news of this movie last year, I predicted a 2017 release date but surprise, surprise; Lionsgate today has announced that the fifth Mel Gibson directorial will see its release towards the end of the year. I didn't realise the movie was so far along.
The line-up of the movie sees Andrew Garfield, Sam Worthington, Luke Bracey, Teresa Palmer, Hugo Weaving and Vince Vaughn; in a true story from World War II about Corporal Desmond Doss - the first conscientious objector to receive the U.S. congressional Medal of Honor.
The official release date now sits as 4 November 2016.
