We can still debate on whether or not we need a Han Solo prequel but there's no debating now who will be the younger version of Solo.
Straight off the lukewarm Hail, Caeser!, and being lauded as the best part of that movie; according to Coming Soon, Alden Ehrenreich has been cast by Walt Disney Pictures and Lucasfilm to wear the black vest and the lop-sided smile.
The movie is being written by father-and-son Lawrence Kasdan and Jon Kasdan, and directed by The Lego Movie helmers, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller.
This "Star Wars Story" will be released during Christmas of 2018. But there are also rumours that Ehrenreich's Solo may cameo in this year's Rogue One as an introduction.
