DreamWorks has released their first trailer to The Light Between Oceans, starring Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander and Rachel Weisz.
The movie is adapted from the novel of the same name by M.L. Stedman as his debut novel back in 2012.
With the trio of talents involved, it's even more interesting when you put in Derek Cianfrance into the mix as the director. Cianfrance was responsible for Blue Valentine and The Place Beyond The Pines, and always bring a certian mood and atmosphere to his films. Done right, this could be a tear-jerker.
Done right, this not only could be a tear-jerker but also another Oscar-potential movie even though it's coming out on 2 September 2016 - a little too early for award season. Nevertheless, the three actors are known to perform at Oscar levels and looks like they will be doing it again in this movie.
