The long-awaited movie adaptation of Assassin's Creed has finally released its first trailer for 20th Century Fox.
And of the very little that I know of the console game, there are some scenes here that looks a lot like from the game itself. Same goes to the first poster released that is a reminiscence of the game as well.
But because of how little I know of the game, this two-minute long trailer doesn't really help with understanding the main plot. Everything looks messy and confusing, and I'm wondering what the casual movie-goers will feel after watching it.
Especially the first half of the trailer set in modern day, I didn't know that backstory existed.
Still, this is only the first trailer. I'm sure the next one will shed more light.
Directed by Justin Kurzel, the movie will be out on 21 December 2016.
