New Release Dates For 20th Century Fox Upcoming Movies, Including Marvel Titles
Twentieth Century Fox has announced over the weekend some changes to their upcoming titles, as well as release dates for new titles.
First up, the recently announced Rosa Salazar's Atila: Battle Angel gets an official release date, and it will be out on 20 July 2018.
The Predator, written and directed by Shane Black, was supposed to be out on 2 March 2018, but now has moved up a month to 9 February 2018.
As for the Marvel titles, no official announcements were made for specific titles yet but the placeholders has give some speculations. Fox has secured the dates of 12 January 2018 and 13 July 2018 previously, which have now been moved to 2 March 2018 and 29 June 2018.
It's interesting to note that Fox has secured 6 October 2017 for another Marvel title, which I previously guessed would be for The New Mutants.
But recent news from producer Simon Kinberg claims that title will only start principal photography early 2017 so that speculation has gone out the window. But it would be prime to take up the 29 June 2018 slot.
Deadpool 2 has been speculated to take the 12 January 2018 slot previously so it would still make sense for it to takeover the 2 March 2018.
So what would be coming 6 October 2017? It's definitely not the follow-up to X-Men: Apocalypse. And the final Wolverine movie has already been set for 3 March 2017. That leaves only one other title which was previously supposed to be out later this year, and that's Channing Tatum's Gambit.
But whatever it will be, we should get some confirmation very soon as filming will also have to begin very soon.
