The first teaser trailers have been released for the U.S. and international markets for Sony Pictures' upcoming thriller Inferno, starring Tom Hanks. Both of them are quite different in terms of tone and pace.
I personally prefer the U.S. version as it looks and feels more coherent. The international version is quite a mess, like clips just cut and pasted together and doesn't really help with the storyline.
The movie also stars Felicity Jones who is blowing up recently; as well as the main villain, it seems, played by Ben Foster. And just based off of that brief second of appearance, Irrfan Khan looks like a great addition to this Robert Langdon universe.
I wasn't excited before for the movie as I didn't quite enjoy the Angels & Demons, and The Da Vinci Code was just alright. But with this teaser trailer, it has gotten me hooked and I want to see more. Especially that one guy falling from the ceiling, that looks awesome.
Once again directed by Ron Howard, the movie will be out on 28 October 2016.
