X-Men's Spin-Off The New Mutants Line-Up Revealed By Director
The next spin-off movie of the X-titles will be New Mutants (or is it The New Mutants) and its director, Josh Boone, has teased the fans of the character line-up on his Instagram account.
Boone posted a series of pictures of the characters and they include Magik (Colossus' kid sister and rumoured to be played by Anya Taylor-Joy), Wolfsbane (rumoured to be played by Maisie Williams), Dani Moonstar (a.k.a. Mirage), Cannonball, Sunspot (who has appeared in X-Men: Days Of Future Past), and Warlock.
Nothing can be certain at this point as the roster may change again, but it's a good chance that these will be the main characters for the movie.
The interesting thing here is Sunspot, who was already an adult when we met him in Days Of Future Past. So the timeline of this movie should be late 90's, assuming he starts off as a teen and if he is to grow up to become the same Sunspot that fought alongside Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan's Professor X and Magneto.
But then this would also mean Deadpool cannot appear here as the timeline would be wrong. Oh man, this is giving me a headache.
Anyway, I'm guessing this movie will take the 6 October 2017 earmarked slot for 20th Century Fox.
