Finally a bit of traction for another live-action version of Dungeons & Dragons. Ansel Elgort has been reported by Deadline to be in negotiations to lead the movie.
Elgort led The Fault In Our Stars very well, but I'm very unsure about him as a leading man, even if it's around a bunch of supporting characters. But his next movie, Baby Driver, may change my mind.
The movie has a script written by David Leslie Johnson and to be directed by Rob Letterman. No word yet on when the movie will be released; but if I were to take a guess, it would probably be 2018.
