The final trailer for Star Trek Beyond has just been released by Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions. And with another song playing in the background, Rihana's "Sledgehammer" to be exact, this is a much better cut than the very first trailer.
There is, however, a few weird editing in this trailer; which I'm guessing it's because they may be removing the scenes centering around Anton Yelchin, out of respect for the tragedy.
But overall, it has gotten me most interested in the movie to date. The tone of the trailer is so far away from that ridiculous music video of the first one, and more inline with what Star Trek is about. So kudos for finishing strong, Paramount.
The movie will be out on 22 July 2016.
