Beverly Hills Cop 4 Has Found Its New Directors

Eddie Murphy's Beverly Hills Cop 4 has been stuck in development hell. It was supposed to be out earlier this year with Brett Ratner directing, but that didn't work out.

But according to Deadline, Paramount Pictures has found new directors that will hopefully take this project forward.

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah came into notice when their movie, Black, won the Discovery Award at the 2015 Toronto Film Festival; leading Paramount to give the Belgian duo the director's chairs.

Jerry Bruckheimer is back to producing this sequel after missing the last one, and Eddie Murphy will of course reprise his role; though he admits that the script has not been up to par and they are still fixing it.

Perhaps now we can expect a 2017 release date from Paramount.
