Donald Glover To Join Spider-Man: Homecoming

Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios' Spider-Man: Homecoming continues its casting process with a few more lesser-known actors like Michael Barbieri, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori and Kenneth Choi already confirmed; alongside Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Robert Downey Jr. and Michael Keaton.

All of which will be supporting Tom Holland as the new Spider-Man.

Today, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed another actor in negotiations to board the reboot. Donald Glover of TV's "Community" fame, and also known as Childish Gambino in the music industry, is very likely to be in the movie in another undisclosed role.

Glover has been a big fan of this Marvel character and has even pushed for the leading role through social media back in 2009 for The Amazing Spider-Man, which eventually ended up with Andrew Garfield.

The Marvel-guided reboot will arrive in 7 July 2017.
