Paramount Pictures and MGM have released another trailer for their upcoming remake of the epic Ben-Hur, as well as the first poster featuring Jack Huston as the titular character.
The first trailer disappointed me quite a fair bit because it looked cheesy with badly rendered CGI. But this second trailer would have been a huge upgrade had it not been the ridiculous song playing in the background.
But everything else, visually, has gotten me excited once again to see this movie.
I'm actually surprised that there has not been a bigger marketing push for the movie as it's only two months away; and I have a feeling that it's because they have been fixing the movie, maybe re-shoots of some sorts.
Directed by Timur Bekmambetov, the movie will come out on 19 August 2016.
