If Sandra Bullock will be playing George Clooney's ex-con sister, does this mean this new movie is a sequel and not just a reboot?
According to ComingSoon.net, two new female stars have been added by Warner Bros. Pictures to the cast that now has Bullock and Cate Blanchett; with Jennifer Lawrence still unconfirmed. Helena Bonham Carter and Mindy Kaling are now part of the new Las Vegas heist team.
These two names are very surprising but also refreshing. I never would have thought to see Carter in this kind of movie, and Kaling will add a lot of comedic timing and hopefully another level of humour.
The working title for now is still "Ocean's Ocho", hinting that there will only be eight players. No word yet on an official release date.
