Warner Bros. Pictures has today announced another major delay to the beloved franchise of The Lego Movie.
The Lego Movie Sequel was supposed to be released on 18 May 2018, but now it has been pushed nine months to 8 February 2019.
Fans of the movie have been very patient thus far, as the sequel kept making way for spin-offs like The Lego Batman Movie as well as Ninjago; all of which would arrive before the sequel.
But this latest delay comes as a surprise as no reason was given, and I hope the Internet lets out a big cry of disappointment and disapproval because we were all expecting it to arrive two years after the original. With this delay, it would be almost a five-year gap!
