Chris Evans is ready to trade in the stars and stripes for a Bruce Banner personality, according to Deadline.
The new re-telling of a classic story by Lionsgate will see another popular property being told by two different studios.
While Lionsgate's Jekyll movie will be based on the BBC miniseries of 2007 written by Steven Moffat, Universal's monsters universe will see another Dr. Jekyll played by Russell Crowe who will first appear opposite Tom Cruise in The Mummy that is to be released on 9 June 2017.
No release date has been set for Jekyll.
