Sony Pictures and MGM have released the first trailer and a new poster
to the remake of The Magnificent Seven.
In hindsight, these trailers for the movie are cut really well because the teaser trailer released a few months ago gave us a feel of the tone of the movie; while this first trailer gave us the character.
These are great examples of how trailers should be cut.
We get a taste of who Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt's characters are and with the rest of the Seven briefly introduced later. It had humour, explosions and purpose. I love this trailer and now it's right up there as what I really want to see next.
The poster equally is very well designed and not your run-of-the-mill poster. It's a very creative way of blending in the title and the characters.
There's also a banner as an added bonus and it's even better than the poster, introducing all the Seven.
Directed by Antoine Fuqua, the movie will be out on 23 September 2016.
