This can only be a treat with two movies in a year from writer-director Jeff Nichols. On the heels of Midnight Special that deals with powers beyond this earth, comes a smaller story - but no less powerful - about equality.
Starring Joel Edgerton and Michael Shannon, who both starred in Midnight Special; as well as Ruth Negga; the first trailer shows the unmistakable style and beat of Nichols. His movies have not reached a level where they become my favourites of a year but his sense of storytelling is something I have come to appreciate.
Put in Edgerton, another talent I have become excited for, I'm really looking forward to see the performances here.
The poster as well looks perfect for what the story is about. Loving is scheduled to be released on 4 November 2016.
