Another Hollywood great has passed away in this fateful year.
Garry Marshall has passed at the age of 81, with reports that it was due to complications from pneumonia.
Marshall was best known for Pretty Woman, Runaway Bride and The Princess Diaries movies among the many work that he has done. In a way, he kind of shepherded the careers of two of industry's best actresses, Julia Roberts and Anne Hathaway.
His movies are always the feel-good kind and filled with hope and joy that leaves audiences in a good mood walking out of the cinema.
