Brie Larson To Direct And Star In Unicorn Store

This comes as quite a surprise as Brie Larson has announced her desire to direct, but I guess there isn't a better time than the present - right after winning an Oscar and also nabbing the role of the first female-led superhero movie for Marvel Studios in Captain Marvel.

Larson's directorial debut will be an indie comedy titled Unicorn Store, according to The Hollywood Reporter, in which she will also star in and produce.

The role was also originally for Rebel Wilson, but this is certainly a trade up for the movie. It revolves around a woman who is forced to move back with her parents, subsequently getting an invitation to visit the mysterious Unicorn Store and then leading her to question herself about what it means to grow up.

No word yet on a release date but definitely before Captain Marvel, which will be 2019.
