It's frustrating sometimes when an animated movie has opened already in many other countries and not in this region yet, and now a sequel has already been announced because it's doing so well.
The Secret Life Of Pets is one such movie because somehow there is a written contract that animated movies must open in a country during its school holiday.
So far, the movie has crossed USD 400 million worldwide, and that figure is still going to increase. That's why Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures have now announced the sequel has been given the green light, and it has a release date scheduled for 13 July 2018.
