More casting news has surfaced for another shark movie titled Meg, under Warner Bros. Pictures.
According to Variety today, it is being reported that Jessica McNamee has joined the cast, which already has the previously announced Jason Statham as the male lead, as well as, apparently, Fan Bing Bing.
It is a surprise to me because this is the first time that I'm hearing that Fan has joined Meg, and it's apparently old news.
I have no idea who McNamee is as I've never seen her work before. But I loved what Fan did with the character Blink in X-Men: Days Of Future Past and would like to see if she can do anything else in Hollywood without heavy make-up.
To be directed by Jon Turtletaub, who did National Treasure; and written by James Vanderbilt, who wrote for The Amazing Spider-Man, but also Independence Day: Resurgence.
However, Meg will only be out 2 March 2018; which is indicating to me that it may be heavy in CGI.
