Kenny Baker, most famously known for his work as the most beloved Star Wars droid, R2-D2, has passed today.
Other than appearing in all the first six Star Wars movie, his other notable work included some classics such as Flash Gordon, Labyrinth, Willow; as well as provided the voice for Captain Orton in Warner Bros. Pictures animated adaptation of The King And I.
Although Baker did not do any performances for R2-D2 in last year's The Force Awakens, he was still credited as a consultant. Because without Baker, there really would not have been the R2-D2 that we all know and love.
