Pitch Perfect 3 Hires New Director Trish Sie

Universal Pictures' Pitch Perfect 3 previously lost its director in Elizabeth Banks back in June due to her hectic schedule.

Banks today has announced on her Twitter account that the studio has found a new director to helm the third movie, Trish Sie.

Sie is a fairly new director to full-length feature movies as she has only done Step Up All In, which in my opinion was just a load of crap; so that doesn't give me any boost of confidence. But with a script from someone like Kay Cannon, maybe it will totally be different from a Step Up movie.

Pitch Perfect 3 is scheduled to be out on 22 December 2017.
