Chloe Grace Moretz recently left her starring role for The Little Mermaid live-action adaptation in order to redefine herself as an actress, or so the reports went.
Today we find out from Variety that she is now joining the cast of the remake for Suspiria, which will be directed by Luca Guadagnino.
Suspiria, the Latin word for "sighs", was originally released in 1977 by director Dario Argento. This remake already has Dakota Johnson and Tilda Swinton in the cast, with Johnson playing the lead character.
The report from Variety did not, however, mention if this was the reason Moretz left abruptly from The Little Mermaid.
No release date has been set yet.
