The Mary Poppins sequel, Mary Poppins Returns, has added another powerhouse into their cast today.
According to Variety, Colin Firth has been cast to play William Weatherall Wilkins, president of the Fidelity Fiduciary Bank.
The bank has appeared in the original movie, but the character was never mentioned until the third book by P.L. Travers, Mary Poppins Opens The Door.
The sequel will feature Ben Wishaw and Emiy Mortimer playing the grown-up versions of Michael and Jane Banks, who gets a visit from their nanny 25 years after the first visit.
Directed by Rob Marshall, the movie will be out on 25 December 2018.
