Warner Bros. Pictures has finally announced a release date for their upcoming sequel / spin-off to Ocean's Eleven, titled Ocean's Eight (though I'm not entirely sure if this title is final).
However, there's going to be a little wait to seeing this movie because it won't be coming out until 2018, specifically 8 June 2018.
To have announced this two years early is really a tease, especially when the cast is already confirmed. But then again, to be a tease it would have to be anticipated; and I'm not too sure if there is a lot of interest for this right now. I for one am interested. I loved both the original and the remake, so let's see if this will be right up there as well.
Directed and produced by Gary Ross, the movie will star Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Sarah Paulson, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter and Awkwafina.
