I'm going to call it right now. At the end of this movie it will be so moving that I'll be crying like a baby. That's what this Logan first trailer made me feel.
Released by 20th Century Fox, with a fantastic soundtrack playing behind it, this could be the best superhero movie trailer this year - because it didn't feel like one!
Starring Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, Dafne Keen; this trailer felt more like a character-driven drama and I can't feel more excited for it than I am right now. And with all the black and white pictures being released up to this point on Logan's Instagram account, they have been so consistent with the tone of this trailer.
I love how sad the mood is, even more emphasised in just that one shot where Jackman, Stewart and Keen sitting around a table and smiling. That's like the calm before the storm, and it's going to be a hurricane coming.
Directed by James Mangold, Logan will be out on 3 March 2017; which isn't that far away! This is how early (or late) big movie trailers should come out. I don't want to wait nine months after watching a brilliant trailer.
