DC's The Flash Loses Director Rick Famuyiwa
Warner Bros. Pictures just can't their act together when it comes to The Flash. According to The Hollywood Reporter, director Rick Famuyiwa has stepped down from the project due to "creative differences".
Whether its the executives pushing their weight around or, well, is there anything else that would make an up-and-coming director leave a high-profile project like a superhero one? But if something doesn't feel right, it's better to step away than to risk becoming the next Josh Trank.
It's actually a pity that we are no longer getting a Famuyiwa DC movie because it could have been something very interesting, given that he's got a good handle in character storytelling as well as humour a la his previous movie Dope.
But because of this, the movie may no longer be able to make its announced release date of 16 March 2018.
